The End of an ERA?
Remember 2003? I sure do. It seems like I just made the decision to go to tech school. Many of you know that I attended Universal Technical Institute. While in tech school I worked my face off to overcome some challenges that I have learning things. In addition I worked a full time job too. That time set the course for the next 13+ years of being a Volkswagen technician.
From noob at tech school to just up and moving to a new state for a job, cars have been my world. Now I have reached a point where I have a choice to make. I can continue working with one foot in the dealership world, and one in the HumbleMechanic world, or I can commit to one. And most of all, thanks to all of you guys, that is a simple choice.

dear Mr. H mechanic I’m from Mexico and I really like your videos and I already use them in some of my vehicles I have a 2000 and a 2009 Jettas 2 liter and 2.5 liters respectively and a 2007 GLI which is my favorite car I ever had. as you must know in Mexico we love VW you should consider come and live here if the gringos don’t support you
you ‘ll be very happy here you can have tasteful tacos in a bettle every day if you want and, mainly, we have a lot of vw cars here and it seems you know something about them.

Can I get this Certified Master’s Award?
Humble Mechanic, how are you doing,great I hope. I have been watching your videos for a while and the pretty doggone good. I have been a State certified mechanic in Michigan sinse 1988 never ASE and I have learned alot from techs like you and other true techs that I did not know. Being Certified in Engines, automatic transmissions,braking systems have limited me to those area’s. So your choice that you made only you will know if it’s going to work for you. So best of luck with your choice and keep making those great videos.
