As you guys know, we added an R32 to the Humble Mechanic fleet. If you saw the video “Everything Wrong With The R32″, you know it had a good amount of issues.  My goal with the car was to show you guys how to fix all the things wrong with it. One of the first things I wanted to tackle was window tint. The tint on the car looked terrible. Some refer to that as the “South Miami Special”. Well I did all the steps right, followed great advice, took my time, and things still didn’t go well for me.

This show we are going back to mid March of 2015. We had just hired two new guys from tech school. If I recall correctly, one was invited to leave after about 3 weeks. Nice dude, but wasn’t cut out for the job. The other did really well. We are also talking about TDI cold start issues, wiper blades freezing, and other weather related issues.

As you know I went to Automotive tech school. I attended Universal Technical Institute in 2002. My experience at automotive tech school was great. If not for tech school I would never have become a mechanic, and wouldn’t be doing videos. A lot of you guys have asked me about my experience in tech school, so today we talk about what it was like for me, and what I had to do to attend mechanic school. My family and I made some choices that many people wouldn’t make. I think I would do it again every single time.
