Sponsor of the Day
CRP deals in a ton of OE automotive parts. They also make the factory DSG fluid for VW. Having them as a sponsor will give us access to more information about fluids than I would ever get from VW. I am really excited to have them as a resource of information. To learn more about the great products they have, check out CRPAutomotive.com

Thank you Charles for your advice! I am leaning towards fixing my repairs (leaking vacuum pump) and keeping the car versus selling it. Really appreciate your thoroughness of answering all my questions!
Best, Tamami (or Tam) 🙂
Thanks for sharing this with us, from last two weeks I am having same problem after I watch this, I had fix that issue.
Question for Charles. Hi Charles I recently bought a 2004 VW touareg as a bit of a project, it had quite a few issues when I bought it and going through them slowly, I have come to halt with the multi function steering wheel controls, there is no cruise control, no volume control for the radio or no scrolling of the car status menus, I thought I would ask Charles what could be the cause for this, the horn works as it should, the stalk for the indicator works as it should and the wipers stalk works as it should occasionally the intermittent control plays up for a few minutes and then it’s fine for a long time, there are no active fault codes I have had a suggestions from self appointed geniuses but I thought I would wait to see what you guys had to say. Many thanks…Ian Dowley.
