Hi Charles. great video. A question. I recently had the 30k mile(last free maintenance) done on my 13 Tiguan 4Motion. Brake flush, Haldex clutch oil change, engine oil/filter change. It was all done under 1hr30min. After I drove home, I noticed they forgot to put back the sliver splash shield under the car, drove back! I live in NYC, the dealership is in edsion, NJ. You could imagine! When I got there, they are off work. Finally manager came, couldn’t find my part, had to take off the one on their lots to replace mine. Was miserable during all the traffic. After this ordeal. Now I kind think it was all done too quickly in 90min. I doubt they did the brake flush and Haldex. the brake still feel the same soft. No way of knowing. engine oil level was just at the min mark, Tire pressure was inconsistent with what’s on the final paper work. Tires weren’t rotated. I will also need to check my lug nuts to see if they over torque it. 🙁 Charles, what do you think? Should I go to another dedicated vw shop to re do the Haldex and brake flush? I certainly can afford it as I just don’t want to cheap out on cars. I just dont want to deal with this dealership any more. Thank you.

Hey Charles, love all of your videos and maybe I’ve missed one where you may have talked about this..but, if you haven’t already would love to hear your thoughts on TTY or one-time use bolts/nuts. There are a lot of mandatory replacement pieces on my 2015 Golf TDI that do not look like the TTY bolts in my 2001 Jetta TDI. Just how important are these to replace if they don’t look like an actual TTY part?
