I want to know if you have any info regarding the 2018 1.8 TSI engine regarding timing chain lasting or problems.Thanks for your reply and your website info is very valuable for VW enthhusiast
I think it’s still too early to know 100% for sure. The newer generation has been better, but with limited high mile vehicles its still unknown
Thank you for the great support to the community, I have a 2015 gti se with 75k miles I recently started noticing oil in my coolant. I don’t have smoke through my exhuast or hesitation to the engine but reading through forums the closest thing I got was the golf r models, that the oil cooler starts to leak and oil will leak into the coolant is this something you would help me with, as the dealer wants 1200 without parts
