You will need to remove the door trim panel, and secure the glass before making this repair. This is performed on a MK4 Jetta, other VWs and Audis may be similar

steering-wheel-wrongIn this DIY and Drive video, I will show you how to remove an airbag and a steering wheel on a Volkswagen. To remove the steering wheel, the airbag must be removed. This can be tricky even with the VW Airbag Tool. Today I will show you how to remove both with basic hand tools.
