5 Quick Tips For Replacing Camshafts

If you are rebuilding an engine, odds are you will replace the camshaft or camshafts. Today we look at some must follow tips for replacing a camshaft on just about any engine. During my VR6 engine rebuild I replaced the camshafts with a mild upgrade.

VR6t GTI Update ~ The engine is Installed!

A quick update on the MK3 GTI VR6t project. The engine is installed in the car. Several parts are mocked up to test for proper fitment. The turbocharger is not installed, but will be to properly clock it. Front end is on for some radiator, condenser, and fan fitment. The engine bay will be tight, but awesome!

The VR6 turbo project was stalled. But now it’s time to get back to the MK3. I have oil leaks to fix, coolant leaks to fix, charge cooler piping to fix, a clutch to fix, a transmission to fix, some more parts to install, brakes to upgrade and probably a whole lot more.
