VW Atlas Review 2018 R Line ~ What's Good?

Today we review the 2018 VW Atlas R line. The Atlas R line is the biggest 3rd row SUV in the Volkswagen Fleet. If you have been wondering what the Atlas MPG is, how the interior of the Atlas feels, or how it drives, you’re in for a treat. The 2018 Atlas R line is also equipped with wheel upgrade and styling improvements. As a VW technician I am very critical on the VW atlas. There is a fair amount to like, and somethings I don’t like. As I mention in the video, the Atlas will always be a little special for me. It was the last training class I went to as a VW technician. I also went to the Atlas launch in Atlanta. There I got to do the ride and drive with the Atlas, the Pilot, and the Explorer.

2018 VW Tiguan ~ The Good, The Bad, and The Rest

The 2018 Tiguan was a little bit of a quite release for VW. With all the marketing efforts going to the Atlas. Since the Atlas was held at the plant, the Tiguan complete redesign was not pumped up as much. As you may know, my wife and I own a 2015 Tiguan. We have owned that Tiguan for a little over two years. The 2015 is not a bad car, but it has some type 1 short comings.

The redesign of the Tiguan takes care of most of the issues I have with our 2015. Bigger, cooler looking, and finally better technology. But there is still a few things I would like to change out this current generation Tiguan. Either way this was a fun video. Also a shout out to Leith VW Cary. They let me borrow the car for a few days. This is a pretty rad dealership. Their service department is awesome now that the jerk shop Forman left. 😉

2015 Tiguan Short Term Review ~ Audio Podcast Episode 84

Today you are joining me in the 2015 Tiguan for a short term review. There is a lot I like about the Tiguan. There is also a lot I want to like about the Tiguan, but just can’t seem to. To me, the Tiguan is 10% away from being an awesome car. After the initial audio from the Tiguan review, I chime back in with more info that has come out since this Tiguan video. There are a few issues that have become more problematic than before. Mostly centered around the engine, CCTA engine code, and sunroof.
