Shell V-Power Nitro Plus and Indy 500 ~ Podcast Episode 71

Shell V-Power Nitro Plus

Todd, Jake, myself, and Jason in a virtual reality fuel world

Hey everyone! A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of “Doing the Double”. That means I was in Indianapolis, for the Indy 500, then flew to Charlotte for the Coca-Cola 600. It is something that only a hand full of people have ever been able to do. I was joined by my good buddies Jason from Engineering Explained, and Todd from Formula1Blog. Two razor sharp dudes that I always love being around and talking cars. It was a jam packed weekend, that I will not soon forget.

Note:
This trip was sponsored by Shell, and UEG.

Yeah but I bet that steering wheel won’t play Mario Kart. 60% in one tank??? OK every skeptical nerve in my body just misfired. I’m from Missouri and like the saying goes…Show Me. Corrosion protection is nice if you own something like a boat where the fuel may sit for long periods but for everyday drivers I’d say not an issue. Surprised (or not) he blamed it on moisture, well yeah that can do it but it’s more the alcohol in the fuel as alcohol has a ton more oxygen in it that just gasoline alone and if you want to corrode something you must have oxygen. I’d give the fuel a go ‘cept for the fact that Shell has all but pulled out of my area. Had a Shell gas card for 6 months and couldn’t use it until I was 300 miles away. What yah figure that steering wheel cost, 200 grand maybe? Sick!!!
