Rattle Can Paint Your Engine Bay

Published on July 19, 2017 under Humble Mechanic

Painting an engine bay is pretty easy. For this job I decided to use spray paint from a rattle can. Rattle cans are cheap, and if you prep well, you get great results. The more parts you remove, the easier all of this becomes. I decided not to remove the brake booster and wiring harness. The extra work was not worth it to me on this round. As I mention in the video, this is probably not the last time the engine will be out of the car. If there is a next time, it will involve a little more shaving of the engine bay. Probably not a full shave, but you never know. Clearly I am not a big fan of shaving. ūüôā
