Thanks for sharing how it is important to take out the engine of a car, clean it out, and perform a teardown before adding a turbo to the car. I’ll most likely need a stand of some kind for this. Something to hold up the engine while I work on it.

Its funny that you mentions a mobile guy came by to evac all the refrigerant in your R32 before you started to drain the rest of the fluids in the vehicle to pre for the rebuild. A customer wanted us to do the same for their car because they were doing to DIY a new compressor BUT we didn’t have the tools to do it! Like you, we gotta add it to the list of things to buy!
