MK3 VR6t UPDATE and MK1 VR6 Swap Update

Today I am trying something a little different. You are getting 2 videos in one. I made a video on the MK3 VR6t, updating where we are in the build. We also talk about what the next few jobs are, and why the project stalled. I also had the chance to catch up with my old MK1 VR6 Cabriolet. How to Read Engine Oil Bottles ~ Always Get The Right Oil

Buying the right engine oil can be confusing. But it’s actually very simple. Using the information listed on the engine oil bottle, and your owners manual, you never have to worry about getting the wrong engine oil for your car or truck. Reading the engine oil bottle can be tricky. Here are the simple facts! Thanks to Pennzoil for partnering with me on this video.

In may places auto mechanics or auto technicians are not required to have a license to fix cars. Should we require mechanics to have a license before they can work on cars or trucks? Would forcing mechanics to have a license make things better for mechanics? How is a license different from ASE certification? Today we talk about about mechanic license!

Should Auto Mechanics be Required to be Licensed?

What is Inside A Car’s Muffler and Catalytic Converter?

What is Inside A Car’s Muffler and Catalytic Converter? Why do people delete a muffler? What about a muffler vs a straight pipe? Oh and no, it’s not a muffler bearing. Mufflers reduce the amount of sound out of an engine, then also slow the exhaust gas down as it travels to the back of the car. You will also see why a performance exhaust sounds different from a stock muffler. I did a video on Exhaust Replacement Tips, if you want to learn about installing a performance exhaust.

Should You Follow Your Owners Manual for Maintenance?

When it comes to maintaining a car, the owners manual is a great guide. But should you just follow it? When should you change your oil? When should you replace spark plugs, what about fluid like coolant with no replacement interval? There is a lot of things missing from the owners book, and some maintenances are not as cut and dry.
