A much needed few days off

I just wanted to let you all know that I am taking a few days off. Well, to tell ya the truth, I will be working. 🙂
I am taking a few days off from the blog. I am changing a few processes so it will take some time to iron that out.

Last week I did my first 4 days of internship at a local VW dealership – 10 more days to go! I am loving it 🙂 Just thought I’d let ya know 😉

That is awesome. I am really happy for you. What type of stuff are you doing at the dealer?
The first day I just watched, the guy didn’t let me touch anything but since then he’s been trusting me more and more so I am doing more and more actual work 😉
I am very lucky they matched me up with one of their best techs with 20 years of VW experience so he doesn’t really do oil changes 😉
So far I changed the liquid of 2-3 DSGs, swapped a few A/C compressors, changed both electric mirrors on an mk5, helped the tech replace synchros on an mk4 transmission, spent a few hours diagnosing an intermittent NO-Start issue (turned out one of the tranny module connectors was disconnected in the firewall), changed an O2 sensor on a ’11 Touareg (recall?), a few recalls on MK6 engines… I actually prepared a new Passat for delivery 🙂 and I am forgetting a lot of other things, I am really enjoying this experience!
HELL YES! Man that sounds like a pretty awesome start….
